Thousands of US citizens may have been targeted in a huge tax scam run from call centres in Mumbai, where hundreds of workers were allegedly trained to speak in American accents in order to steal tens of millions of dollars, Indian police have said.

About 700 people are being investigated over what is believed to have been one of the biggest such scams in India's history, which involved workers posing as US tax officials, according to Paramvir Singh, the police commissioner of Thane.

While Family Watchdog has decided to stay out of the light of the elections, we want to remind you that you still need to get out there and vote today if you have not already. 80-100 MILLION Americans will not vote this year! (only around 4 million are ineligible to vote due to residency requirements or stat laws that bar ex-felons from voting.) In 2012 only 53.6% of eligible Americans voted in the elections. This year they expect a slightly higher turn out. But still, that is nuts! Don't you care about your children's future America?

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Jared Fogle's ex-wife will speak to the media today about a lawsuit filed on her behalf.


Katie McLaughlin will discuss the litigation filed against Subway.

According to court documents, the lawsuit alleges that Subway knew of Jared Fogle's "depravities" and "failed to act as a corporation should."

The legal complaint alleges that Subway received reports on at least three occasions regarding "Jared's sexual interest in and activity with children." Following two of those reports, the lawsuit alleges that Subway responded "by sending a public relations employee to ask Jared about the allegations." The lawsuit says Subway admitted that the third complaint was "not properly escalated or acted upon."

The January 2015 assault - digital penetration - was stopped by two men on bicycles who noticed that the victim wasn't moving, authorities said. Turner, who was 19 at the time, fled, but the witnesses tackled him and held him until police arrived, according to the Santa Clara District Attorney's Office.
